The process flow of processing iron ore with a jaw crusher generally includes the following steps:
1. Feeding: Large pieces of iron ore are fed into the jaw crusher through feeding equipment (such as vibrating feeders).
2. Coarse crushing: In a jaw crusher, iron ore is subjected to coarse crushing. The movable jaw plate moves periodically relative to the stationary jaw plate, squeezing and crushing the ore to reduce its particle size.
3. Screening: The roughly crushed iron ore is screened through a vibrating screen to separate materials that meet the particle size requirements and materials that require further crushing.
4. Intermediate crushing: Materials that meet the particle size requirements may be sent to intermediate crushing equipment, such as a single cylinder hydraulic cone crusher, for further crushing.
5. Fine crushing: After intermediate crushing, the iron ore material may need to be sent to fine crushing equipment such as multi cylinder hydraulic cone crushers to further refine the particle size.
6. Subsequent processing: The finely divided iron ore may undergo subsequent processing techniques such as grinding, magnetic separation, flotation, and drying according to specific needs to obtain iron concentrate powder or other products.
It should be noted that the actual process flow may vary due to factors such as the properties of iron ore, production requirements, equipment configuration, etc. In some cases, auxiliary processes such as iron removal and dust removal may also be added during the crushing process to improve product quality and equipment operating efficiency. At the same time, in order to ensure the stability and efficiency of the production process, it is necessary to regularly maintain and upkeep the equipment.
In addition, different beneficiation plants may adopt different process flows and equipment combinations. Some advanced technological processes, such as "stage grinding, weak magnetic separation reverse flotation process", "full magnetic separation process", "ultra fine crushing wet magnetic separation tailings process", etc., are gradually being applied to improve the beneficiation efficiency and concentrate quality of iron ore. In specific production, it is necessary to select the most suitable process flow and equipment based on factors such as the characteristics of the ore, investment budget, and production scale.
